Much may be done in those little shreds and patches of time which every day produces, and which most men throw away.
Charles Caleb Colton
I am a stay at home mom of two daughters ages 6 and 9. I’m not sure that stay at home is an accurate description though, because I am seldom at home when they are in school. My mornings start with a jolt and my adrenaline starts pumping as soon as the alarm clock goes off. My initial mission is to get everyone out of the house on time, appropriately clothed and fed, with lunches and snacks packed in their backpacks.
Like most moms, I am also the schedule keeper, chauffeur, maid, and head chef. I make sure that assignments and homework are turned in completed and on time. I also shuttle kids to and from soccer, tennis, piano and play dates. My multitasking skills are incredibly well honed. Sound familiar?
My life mission now is to save our family both money and time so we can enjoy what we have, doing the things we love to do together.
